The Prize for Innovation is made up of 4 categories; Prize for Innovation, Up and Comer, Industry Collaborator and Climate Change Innovator.
QTIC Deputy CEO, Brett Kapernick, says the Prize for Innovation is an opportunity for businesses of all sizes and from all regions to be recognized for their innovative ideas.
“We’ve seen nominees from the outback, from up north, from the gold coast and more. It doesn’t matter where you are or how small your business might be, you too can be a world-leading innovator,” said Mr Kapernick.
‘The Australian Age of Dinosaurs’ took out the Prize for Innovation award in 2017 and they are back again with a new nomination.
Naomi Miles, Business Development Manager, The Australian Age of Dinosaurs said, “The QTIC World Tourism Day event is the perfect opportunity to meet industry leaders and be re-inspired to develop and innovate tourism products that push the boundaries of what is possible. Recognition from QTIC is a big thumbs up that we are on the right track”.
To generate forward-thinking tourism within Queensland, it’s essential for individual tourism businesses and the industry to continually renew, change and create more effective processes, products and services.
