Disaster recovery funding
To assist Queensland communities impacted by recent extreme weather events, the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) is offering organisations and community groups a grant of up to $100,000 for items or facilities damaged by disaster, as well as funding for insurance excess fees. The funding round is now open and closes midnight 15 July. More information about the disaster recovery fund can be found on the

2023 Queensland Day Sponsorship Program
To support Queensland Day celebrations on 6 June, applications are now open for the 2023 Queensland Day Sponsorship Program.
Funding of up to $15,000 is available to not-for-profits, local governments, Regional Tourism Organisations, and community and festival organisations hosting initiatives or events that mark Queensland’s iconic day between 3-11 June 2023. For more information, visit the

Tourism Experience Development Fund
To drive demand for our state’s destinations and develop new tourism products, the Queensland Government has launched a $15 million Tourism Experience Development Fund.
Grants between $50,000 and $200,000 are available to businesses and operators delivering new and compelling tourism products. Applications open 15 July and close 26 August. Learn more about the Fund on the

Activate Ecotourism Infrastructure initiative
To help grow our state’s nature-based tourism experiences, the Queensland Government have allocated $5 million to the Activate Ecotourism Infrastructure pilot initiative and are offering financial support to tourism operators interested in delivering ecotourism and nature-based tourism infrastructure.
